In this episode of the Redneck Supra build, we’re making huge progress swapping out our Gen 1 motor for the Gen 2 Atlas 4200 straight-six and ditching the AR5 for a beefy Tremec TKX 5-speed! Watch as we install the Atlas Industries adapter plate, modify the Silver Sport bellhousing to clear the starter, and bolt it all together for the first time. We compare the TKX to the AR5, discuss shifter placement in the Mustang, and tackle challenges with the pilot bushing and hydraulic clutch conversion.
