Hey guys! First post here. I’m working on 4200 swapping my 87 Conquest TSI. Still in the very early stages of getting it dropped and fitted into the car but here’s my progress this far.
My biggest challenge is keeping the stock hood line. I’m fighting both getting the engine back enough and low enough to sit below the factory hood but running into clearance issues with the factory crossmember and steering links for the old ball style steering setup.
Been getting creative so far and I’ve done just about all I can so far without notching / spacing the crossmember or changing the steering so I’ll update as I go along!

I would look on the tube, i think its a silva or something like that where they went through this same kind of thing. I cant think of the video series rt now, never mind i found it. "alex Groves" in a 240sx. Imma see if i can get his stuff up here on the board as well but that is a different day. i gotta get to sleep.
