DONATIONS

Post by SSG Pohlman »

Lets face it, we don't all have money, which is why we turn to the web and forums. We know that we can probably find the information or at least be able to ask someone who knows. So if you feel like this forum has maybe saved you some money on parts or at the very least some of your personal time (as we know time is worth money) then consider donating. I mean even if a 1/4 of the current FB group (7/2025 18k) donated a dollar, then there would be plenty to make sure this stays up and running. Ill go my best on my own as I said I would, but any and all help is appreciated.

Make a donation for the support of this board with PayPal. Under 'My payment is for', select "Friends and Family". There is no PayPal fee if you pay from a PayPal balance or bank account. There may be a fee if using a credit card. Please e-mail me if corrections are needed for this process.

These are what I have for now, this is to get the site up and going. So if there's a way, add a note "forum" or "4200" or something to let me know, that way I can move it to a separate account for the forum. I will work on setting up pay options with the forums official email. For now this is how we move forward. To be continued....

This should give you an idea to what the costs are to do a website, there are other ways yes where you host it all online, but the price per month get pretty steep when the base "plans" only let you have like 50MB to start with. I know our community would burn through that in about 2 days, so that is why I chose to host it myself. More storage than we will ever need. 8-)
